Ingredients
  

Meatloaf
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Teriyaki Glaze
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch optional, for thickening

Method
 

Prepare the Meatloaf
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Make the Glaze
  1. In a small saucepan, combine teriyaki sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch. Heat over medium heat until bubbling and slightly thickened.
  2. Brush half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
Bake
  1. Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165?F (74?C).
  2. During the last 10 minutes of baking, brush the remaining glaze over the meatloaf.
  3. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
