Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Base
  • 1 lb ground beef preferably 80/20 for moisture
  • 1 cup bread crumbs can use panko for extra crunch
  • 1 large egg binds the mixture
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp cumin ground
  • 1 tbsp coriander ground
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk to moisten the mixture
Topping
  • 1/2 cup ketchup for glaze
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar to sweeten the glaze
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Method
 

Prepare the Meatloaf
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, black pepper, and milk.
  3. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Prepare the Glaze
  1. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake the Meatloaf
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160?F (70?C).
  2. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
