- 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 cups fresh celery, chopped
- 1 cup red bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili paste (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Press the tofu between paper towels for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture. Chop the celery and slice the bell pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chili paste, and sesame oil; set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Saut? garlic and ginger until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add celery and bell pepper; cook until tender-crisp (about 5 minutes).
- Push veggies to one side, add tofu to the other side, and saut? until golden brown (about 3 minutes). Flip gently.
- Pour sauce over tofu and vegetables; stir well to coat evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes.
