Description

Tiramisu fudge brownies are an irresistible fusion of two classic desserts, seamlessly blending the rich, fudgy texture of brownies with the creamy, coffee-infused layers of traditional tiramisu. These decadent squares feature a base of dark chocolate brownies infused with espresso and topped with a velvety mascarpone filling, dusted with cocoa powder for that perfect finish. Ideal for gatherings or as a personal treat, these brownies promise to elevate any dessert table with their delightful flavors and textures.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa)

? cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

? cup all-purpose flour

1 tbsp espresso powder

8 oz mascarpone cheese

1 cup heavy whipping cream

Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350?F (175?C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish.

Melt dark chocolate and butter together until smooth; let cool.

In a bowl, whisk sugar and eggs until combined. Fold in the chocolate mixture.

Sift flour and espresso powder; fold into wet ingredients until just mixed.

Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for about 30 minutes.

Cool completely before layering with whipped mascarpone mixed with heavy cream.

Chill for at least 45 minutes, then dust with cocoa before serving.

Notes

For added texture, consider folding in nuts or incorporating crushed ladyfingers into the brownie batter. You can also experiment with flavored extracts like vanilla or almond to enhance the taste.
