  • 3 tbsp harissa paste (adjust to taste)
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 large sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped (mixed colors)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil and saut? onions until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef; break it up with a wooden spoon and cook until browned (approximately 7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in harissa paste, cumin, and paprika; cook for about 2 minutes to enhance flavors.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and chopped bell peppers; stir well and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
