Description

Rockin Italian Style Meatloaf is a delightful twist on the classic comfort food, blending savory Italian flavors with hearty ingredients. Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

½ lb ground pork

1 cup plain breadcrumbs

½ cup marinara sauce

⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs

2 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 medium onion, finely chopped

Dried oregano and basil


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic, parsley, onion, oregano, and basil. Mix until just combined.

Shape the mixture into an oval loaf and place in a greased baking dish.

Spread additional marinara sauce over the top.

Bake uncovered for about 60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Experiment with adding sun-dried tomatoes or using different meats like turkey for variations.
