- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup fresh parsley, packed
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
- 4 mini pita breads
- 1/4 cup tahini sauce
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Pulse until finely chopped but not pureed.
- Form the mixture into small patties (about the size of a mini burger).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties in batches for about 3?4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Lightly toast pita breads until warm.
- Assemble sliders by placing each patty on a pita round and drizzling with tahini sauce. Add desired toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
