- 3. In another bowl, beat softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until creamy.
- 4. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- 5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just blended. Fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
- 6. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- 7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the center. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
