Ingredients
- 2 lbs butternut squash, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375?F (190?C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Saut? garlic and sage until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
- Layer half of the butternut squash in the baking dish. Top with half the garlic-sage mixture, salt, pepper, and half the Parmesan.
- Pour half of the heavy cream over the first layer. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
