  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250?F (120?C).
  2. Pop the popcorn according to package directions and place in a large bowl.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in corn syrup and brown sugar, bringing to a boil while stirring continuously.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract and sea salt.
  5. Pour warm caramel sauce over popcorn, folding gently until evenly coated.
  6. Spread popcorn on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool completely before breaking into chunks.
