  • 4 ripe Bosc or Anjou pears, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375?F (190?C).
  2. Fit the pie crust into a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. In a bowl, toss sliced pears with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.
  4. Arrange the spiced pear mixture evenly over the pie crust and dot with butter.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and pears are tender.
