- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crispy bacon bits
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp seasoning salt
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225?F (107?C). If using an oven, set it to the same temperature.
- Slice each jalape?o in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Wear gloves for protection.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, garlic powder, and seasoning salt until well blended.
- Generously fill each jalape?o half with the cheese mixture.
- Place the stuffed jalape?os on the smoker rack or in a grill pan. Smoke for 60-90 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving on a platter.
