- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200?F (93?C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a clean mixing bowl, whip the egg whites on medium speed until foamy. Gradually add granulated sugar, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in lemon juice and sifted powdered sugar into the meringue mixture.
- Using a piping bag, pipe the meringue onto the prepared parchment in heart shapes.
- Bake for about 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let the meringues cool inside with the door slightly ajar.
- Once cooled, fill half of each heart with raspberry puree and sandwich them together.
