  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (approximately 34 oranges)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the persimmons, then scoop the flesh into a blender.
  2. Squeeze oranges to obtain one cup of fresh juice, straining out any seeds.
  3. Add persimmon flesh, orange juice, sugar, lemon juice, and water into the blender. Blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Pour mixture into an airtight container and freeze for about 4 hours or until solid.
