Ingredients

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Granulated sugar
  • Brown sugar
  • Baking powder
  • Sea salt
  • All-purpose flour
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • Unsalted butter
  • Peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350?F (175?C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, blend peanut butter with brown sugar; add an egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Top with spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture and pour remaining brownie batter over it.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Allow cooling before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.

Swap crunchy peanut butter for creamy if preferred.

These brownies can be made ahead of time; just store them properly after cooling.
