Instructions

- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture without over-mixing. Gently fold in the raisins.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Cut into squares once cooled.
