  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup plump raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350?F (175?C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture without over-mixing. Gently fold in the raisins.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool in the pan for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Cut into squares once cooled.
