Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 oz) fresh salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400?F (200?C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce until combined.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them; let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon skin-side down for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for another 10 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle with remaining marinade and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
