  • 1 cup roasted hazelnuts
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (canola or sunflower)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350?F (175?C) and roast hazelnuts on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes until golden. Allow to cool.
  2. Rub cooled hazelnuts in a kitchen towel to remove skins.
  3. Blend hazelnuts in a food processor until smooth, about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt, and vegetable oil; blend until well combined and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  6. Transfer to an airtight jar and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
