  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes).
  2. While the pasta cooks, melt unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Drain the spaghetti, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water. Toss the drained noodles into the skillet with garlic butter, mixing well to coat.
  4. Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the hot noodles, adding reserved pasta water gradually until you reach your desired creamy consistency.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm, optionally drizzled with more melted butter.
