Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ? cups all-purpose flour
  • ? cup unsalted butter (cold)
  • ? cup granulated sugar
  • ? cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ? cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (toasted)
  • 3 large eggs
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and granulated sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a tart pan.
  3. Blind bake with parchment paper and weights for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar and heavy cream until melted.
  5. Allow to cool slightly, whisk in eggs, then fold in chopped pecans.
  6. Pour filling into the pre-baked crust and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set but jiggly in the center.
  7. Let cool completely before slicing.
