  • 2 Granny Smith apples (about 300g)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (100g)
  • 1/2 cup oats (50g)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (60g)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (56g)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350?F (175?C).
  2. Wash and slice figs into quarters and chop apples into bite-sized pieces. Combine them in a mixing bowl.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar and half the cinnamon over the fruit mixture, tossing well to combine.
  4. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, remaining cinnamon, melted butter, and a pinch of salt until crumbly.
  5. Layer the fig and apple mixture in a baking dish, then top generously with the crumble.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
