  • 2 medium potatoes (boiled and mashed)
  • 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • ? cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • ? tsp chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: Boil potatoes until fork-tender, cool, peel, and mash. Mix in green peas, cheddar cheese, cumin seeds, chili powder, and salt.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface into rectangles; cut into 4-inch squares.
  3. Place 2 tbsp of filling in the center of each square. Fold diagonally to form triangles and pinch edges to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry samosas until golden brown, about 3 minutes per batch.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
