- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 bell peppers (1 red, 1 green), chopped
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and transfer to the crockpot.
- In the same skillet, saut? chopped onion and bell peppers until slightly softened (about 5 minutes). Add to the crockpot.
- Combine cooked beef, saut?ed vegetables, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the crockpot.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until flavors meld and everything is tender.
