Description

Texas Roadhouse Chili is the perfect comfort food that warms you from the inside out. Bursting with rich flavors and a medley of spices, this hearty chili is easy to whip up for gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ? cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the pot. Saut? until softened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes and kidney beans; add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for about an hour for flavors to meld.
  6. Serve hot in bowls topped with sour cream and shredded cheese.
