  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large ripe tomato, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by washing and chopping the broccoli and onion.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add cumin seeds and saut? until they pop. Then add the chopped onion and cook until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in ginger-garlic paste, cooking for about one minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the chopped tomato, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook until the tomato softens (about 5 minutes).
  6. Fold in the broccoli florets and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes until bright green but crisp.
  7. Serve immediately with naan or rice, garnished with fresh cilantro.
