Ingredients

Scale

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

? cup light brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

? tsp salt

1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C).

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients.

Mash raspberries with sugar and fold three-quarters into the dough gently.

Scoop rounded balls of dough onto lined baking sheets; add remaining raspberry mixture on top.

Bake for 10?12 minutes until edges are golden.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating white chocolate chips or nuts.

Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes helps maintain cookie shape during baking.
