Ingredients
1 lb (450g) fresh large shrimp, peeled and deveined
? cup cornstarch
2–3 cloves garlic, minced
2–3 green onions, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4–5 dried red chilies
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
Marinate the shrimp with salt, pepper, and minced garlic for 15 minutes.
Coat the marinated shrimp in cornstarch until well covered.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350?F (175?C).
Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
In the same pan, saut? dried chilies and green onions briefly before adding the fried shrimp back to mix.
Notes
