Description

Brighten up your holiday feast with this festive Cranberry and Red Pepper Relish. The combination of tart cranberries and sweet red bell peppers creates a flavorful condiment that enhances turkey, ham, or cheese platters. This easy-to-make relish adds both color and excitement to your Thanksgiving table, making it a must-have for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup red bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse cranberries under cold water and discard any mushy ones.
  2. Finely chop the red bell peppers until they resemble tiny jewels.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, chopped peppers, sugar, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir occasionally until the mixture begins to bubble.
  4. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool completely; the relish will thicken further as it cools.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy with turkey or crackers.
