Ingredients
20–24 jumbo pasta shells
1 lb lean ground beef (or turkey)
2 tbsp taco seasoning
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup salsa
Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350?F (175?C). Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onions over medium heat. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning and salsa.
Mix in cream cheese until smooth. Fill each pasta shell with the mixture and place them in a baking dish topped with shredded cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
Substitute ground meat with black beans for a vegetarian option.
Add diced bell peppers or corn for extra flavor.
Serve with sour cream or guacamole on the side.
