Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni or rotini
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped onions and bell peppers
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Add chopped onions and bell peppers during the last few minutes of cooking.
In a mixing bowl, combine the browned beef mixture with cooked pasta, marinara sauce, and half of the cheeses. Mix well.
Layer half of the pasta mixture in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with half of the remaining cheese, then add the remaining pasta mixture and top with the last of the cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top. Allow to rest before serving.
