Ingredients
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs (room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350?F (175?C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
Gently fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop rounded dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them two inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft. Let cool before serving.
