Description

French fries made in an air fryer are the perfect blend of crispy and fluffy, delivering a nostalgic taste without the guilt of traditional frying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large Russet potatoes (about 400g)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, or grated parmesan cheese for seasoning

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes if desired. Cut into uniform strips about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and pat the potatoes dry with paper towels. Toss with olive oil, salt, and any additional seasonings.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375?F (190?C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned potato strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through for even crispiness.
  6. Once golden brown and crispy, serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
