Ingredients
4 medium Granny Smith apples
8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
? cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350?F (175?C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
2. In one bowl, mix cream cheese and half the sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time.
3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
4. In a third bowl, beat remaining sugar with eggs; add melted butter and vanilla.
5. Gradually blend dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
6. Layer half the batter in the pan, spread cream cheese mixture over it, then top with remaining batter and chopped apples.
7. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
