Description

Crockpot recipes with tender BBQ ribs are the ultimate solution for delicious, hassle-free meals. These succulent ribs are slow-cooked in a rich barbecue sauce, resulting in fall-off-the-bone tenderness and mouthwatering flavors that will impress family and friends alike. Perfect for weeknight dinners or weekend gatherings, this recipe offers both convenience and taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (sweet and smoky)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Remove the silver skin from the ribs and rinse under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this seasoning mixture over the ribs thoroughly.
  3. In another bowl, combine barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar. Pour half over the seasoned ribs and marinate for at least one hour (or overnight).
  4. Place the marinated ribs vertically in the crockpot and pour any remaining marinade over them.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  6. Brush additional barbecue sauce on top about 30 minutes before serving to caramelize.
