Description

Restaurant Style Ranch Dressing is a creamy, flavorful condiment that elevates any meal. With its rich blend of sour cream, mayonnaise, and buttermilk, this homemade ranch dressing offers a delightful balance of tanginess and herbaceous notes. Perfect for drizzling over salads, serving as a dip for fresh veggies or chicken wings, or spreading on sandwiches, it’s an essential addition to your culinary repertoire.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Gradually whisk in buttermilk until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Stir in dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

For added freshness, mix in chopped parsley or chives right before serving.

To make a dairy-free version, substitute mayonnaise with avocado mayo and use almond milk mixed with vinegar instead of buttermilk.
